Rabia is a seasoned marketer with over 20 years of experience in the field of Marketing, gaining exposure in the spheres of strategic marketing, international marketing, digital marketing, partnerships and sponsorships, stakeholder relationship management, events management, and brand activations.

She has gained her experience in both the private and public sector, within the FMCG, tobacco, liquor, petro-chemical, and destination market- ing industries. Having been in the employ of Brand South Africa, the official marketing agency of the South Africa, Rabia also gained exposure in destination marketing and Nation branding. Rabia provides a comprehensive set of skills in strategic marketing and has made various strategic inputs towards the delivery of successful mar- keting campaigns, and project delivery. She has managed large-scale projects such as the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, WEF Africa, Mining in Africa Indaba, BRICS Summit, BRICS Business Forum, Dubai World Expo, and the South Africa Investment Forum, where she has con- tributed to the development of the overall branding framework and crea- tive design for marketing and on-site branding, marketing campaigns, as well as the execution of various engagements at the above-mentioned platforms, hosted by the President of South Africa.

During her tenure at BP South Africa, Rabia looked after BP Southern Africa’s sponsorship portfolio, where she revised a near-obsolete strategy that no longer aligned with the BP business strategy. She secured sponsorship properties that delivered reach and impact. She managed relationships with Volkswagen South Africa and the implementation of the sponsorship agreement between BP SA and Volkswagen SA. Other sponsorship properties included world-renowned Top Gear Live/Festival, the Metro FM Music Awards, as well as strategic input in BP’s relations with Ford South Africa.

Rabia contributed to a BP Helios award-winning marketing campaign called “Ads to Bags”, a creative campaign that benefited young underprivileged children with school supplies, whilst creating job opportunities for women in the communities

Vusi is a young, dynamic digital performance marketing professional with 6 years of experience in the technical strategy and implementation of digital marketing activity. He has a deep understanding of the digital ecosystem (Paid, Earned and Owned Media).

He believes in making data-driven decisions and specialises in gathering, consolidating, and interpreting analytical data in order to assist in informing business decisions and ensuring full optimisation of all necessary elements including the user journey and experience.

Over the years he has worked on several e-commerce and non-e-commerce brands across various verticals and with the Americas & EMEA regions. He is well versed with international digital marketing standards and the legal requirements around GDPR & POPIA, as well as platform-specific advertising policies.
